They are free admissions and emergency hospital services, the medical call services (continuity of care) and on-call medical tourism, the withdrawal of medicines in the pharmacy with the prescription of the NHS. For those who are not free access to some of these, such as diagnostic tests or the performance of non-urgent first-aid is subject to a fee (ticket).

Access to benefits of a general practitioner or pediatrician for free choice is compensated directly by the patient with the payment target of 25 euros for each patient visit.
The home health

If you must stay for at least 3 months in a municipality other than the residence you can apply for home health. In this way, you can also enjoy free performances of a general practitioner, chosen as a medical officer in the temporary home, while maintaining the original residence.

You can request the home health care in these cases:

* Conscripts and professional soldiers on duty with family living;
* Students and seminarians absent from the family residence for study purposes
* Civil servants and private sector partners in mission with family;
* Teachers on duty for more than 3 months;
* Seasonal workers for periods exceeding 3 months;
* And sentenced prisoners who are subject to permits;
* Residents in health resorts for over 3 months because of proving health reasons certified by a practitioner of the ASL.

The duration of home health care is one year and at the end, may be renewed. Always remember that the demand for home health care provides for the cancellation of the ASL from the lists of original residence: the return you should ask again the inscription.

The request must be made in the district presidents of the ASL of the home, the doors to the choice and dismissal of the doctor. Need:

1. self-declaration of domicile on the grounds of detention;
2. the health card A.S.L. residence;
3. tax code.
