Information Systems in Health

It is a race designed to train senior technical staff in Health Info, able to act at different stages of information systems in health.

This process is carried out prior appellation techniques in records management principles and statistical method in each of its stages and research methods in order to ensure an excellent collection, processing and interpretation of information and management of resources are allocated.

This is a structured program in three (3) years attending classes
and develop in the Paramillo Campus (headquarters UNET). This program is the result of an inter agency agreement between the Universidad Central de Venezuela UCV and the Universidad Nacional Experimental del Tachira (UNET).

According to the provisions of the UCV, prospective students must meet the following requirements:

* Registration valid CNU
* Bachelor of Science
* Presentation Internal Test (administered by the UCV)

General Objectives

1. Meet the need for staff training to health statistics, detected with subsequent analysis of existing programs.

2. Contribute to improving services NHS, through training of technical personnel in a systematic and comprehensive to address the problems of technological complexity and the development of health sciences.

3. Provide training opportunities to the area of health care development requirements demanded by the country’s current reality.

4. Provide a solid and consistent with the structure and complexity gives the services of different levels of care the NHS, so that the graduate to integrate your skills and competencies to a qualified practice.

5. Provide a technical training that allows the graduate an efficient integration into the production process of health sector services.

6. Join a technician with the skills to perform tasks in a suitable, with attitudes consistent with the social commitment to the challenges of reality, with a critical of their skills and potential to contribute in the search for fundamental solutions.
