Digestion Slow and Difficult: Causes and Remedies
The slow digestion is a very common disorder, which affects nearly one third of the population, and is the cause of many problems related to physiological functioning of the organism.
Digestion slow or difficult, is manifested through the following symptoms: heaviness, swelling, drowsiness, slowing of reflexes, lack of concentration, nervousness.
Dietary rules to facilitate digestion

For example, the protein should be consumed only with fresh vegetables, and not with starches (breads, cereals or potatoes), carbohydrates should not be consumed with acidic foods (kiwi, pineapple, etc.). Fact, the carbohydrates should be eaten only with vegetables, fresh or cooked. The lipids (oil, cheese, butter), however, should be matched not only for carbohydrates and protein.
Another fundamental rule to be followed to promote food proper digestion on the intake of fruit: it must be eaten between meals, because if eaten alone, it is digested very quickly, if, however, is mixed with foods that require no digestive enzymes suited to metabolize, it inevitably leaves a feeling of heaviness in the stomach.
